Students in the 4^th, 5^th   and 6^th grades are invited to form teams that will take part in recreational reading competitions.  Teams compete against one another initially, and eventually match up against teams from area grade schools.  The purpose of Battle of the Books is to foster a love of reading. 

This year,  one of fifth grade teams, The 5H’s took first place in the 2010 Invitational at St. Monica School  on April 21.
